No, it doesn’t have a meaning in another language.

cos’ it reminds them of another guy in the north of France, who actually was a serial killer ?
No one bears the same name, no family. And no relation with a serial killer (that I know of) ;)
Do they just say “sir” or “teacher” ?
I wish they would but they seem to use this mainly for registration and when we meet in the corridors.
Because it’s funny and they always make jokes…

The real name isn’t particularly funny (no more than usual). They call me “m’sieur” out of habit, like they do for every other teacher but it’s not it :)
