Alice Cooper - Various Riffs 2 guitar tab

I've chosen Muscle of Love as the first Feature Album of the Month because
it is the album often overlooked when people talk about classic albums by
the original Alice Cooper Group. While not as powerful as Love it to Death,
Killer, School's Out, and Billion Dollar Babies, I don't think Muscle of Love
is a bad album at all.

This was the band's fourth consecutive gold album and, sadly, their last
album. Muscle of Loved closed the chapter on a phenomenal career by a band
that scored six gold and platinum albums from 1971-1974, shattered concert
attendance records, and changed the face of rock and roll forever.

Now let's check out some of the cool riffs and licks that MOL features.
You can get transcriptions to "Big Apple Dreamin'", "Never Been Sold Before",
"Muscle of Love", "Workin' Up a Sweat", and "Teenage Lament '74" on the
main page. Below are some phrases from the other songs that I think
stand out.

From "Hard Hearted Alice"
Words and music by Michael Bruce and Alice Cooper

I've always liked this intro. This is as sweet as it gets. Everything
just flows so smoothly.

Intro (minor variations of this are played in song)
   1. "Life coast to coast. White
   2. "Time is free as a jailbird. At
   3. "Love comes cheap at a swapmeet. It
   4. "Love cuts deep as a laser, but

From "Crazy Little Child"
Words and music by Michael Bruce and Alice Cooper

This song was originally about an out-of-control teen, until Alice took
Michael Bruce's lyrics and changed them into a saga about Depression era
hoods.
The guitar work in this song is pretty much just background except for
this very nice little solo.

Alice's James Bond epic, submitted to United Artists for the Man with the

news of the song's rejection.

From "Woman Machine"
Words and music by Michael Bruce and Alice Cooper

This is an old one. The song's original title was "Man Machine" or
"Mr. Machine", depending on which source you read. The song was written
in the late '60's and eventually evolved into "Woman Machine".
