   What happens next is obviously a studio "trick", however, it can
   be reproduced live by slowly pulling up on the vibrato arm to
   increase the pitch while the reverb depth is reduced. Simultaneous
   to this, the "pulsing" synth sound fades in.

Prologue:

"I guess it was a dream, but even now it all seems so vivid to me.
Clearly yet I see the beckoning hand of the oracle as he stood at the
summit of the staircase. I see still the incredible beauty of the
sculptured cities and the pure spirit of man revealed in the lives
and works of this world. I was overwhelmed by both wonder and
understanding as I saw a completely different way to life, a way that
had been crushed by the Federation long ago. I saw now how
meaningless life had become with the loss of all these things."

Lyrics:

I wandered home though the silent streets
And fell into a fitfull sleep
Escape to realms beyond the night
Dream can't you show me the light?

I stand atop a spiral stair
An oracle confronts me there
He leads me on light years away
Through astral nights, galactic days

I see the works of gifted hands
That grace this strange and wondrous land
I see the hand of man arise
With hungry mind and open eyes

They left our planets long ago
The elder race still learn and grow
Their power grows with purpose strong
To claim the home where they belong
Home, to tear the Temples down...
Home, to change..

Time Signature
& Effects Line: Indicates 4/4, 3/4, 7/8, etc. It is only
                 shown for initial time signature indication or
                 changes in time signature. Also provides
                 effects information, e.g., distortion on
                 or off, wha wha on, etc.
Chord Line: Provides the chord name for the chords used in the
             tab below.
Note Duration Line: Provides the "value" of each note, e.g., whole,
                     half, quarter, etc.
String lines: Represent the strings of a guitar. The tab is laid
               out as if you placed a right handed guitar on your
               lap, string side up. A vertical line character "|"
               represents a bar between measures. A dash "-" represents
               each string. The numbers indicate which fret should
               be fingered to sound the note. The first space after
               every bar is a blank space that is never used. Quarter
               notes are separated by 7 dashes, eighth notes are
               separated by 3 dashes, sixteenth notes by 1 dash.
               In an effort to make the "ASCI" tab look as much like
               tab in a music book, the notes are spaced out as
               accurately as possible. In the event the the notes will
               not fit into the standard format shown above the tab is
               expanded (usually required for solos).

Note Duration Table:
w = Whole note
h = Half note
H = Dotted half note
q = Quarter note
Q = Dotted Quater note

s = Sixteenth note
S = Dotted sixteenth note
t = Thirtysecond note
